A Beautiful Day

God answered my prayer while in the hospital. I suffered from intense loneliness as my family was unable to be with me. Today God blessed me with the visit of a two beautiful people. We shared our love for our Catholic faith, stories of encouragement, and shared our spiritual gifts with each other. Here is a photo of me with one of the lovely ladies that blessed me with their presence. God is so good to me!

During our visit another person who truly blesses my life, had asked for her parish priest to pay me a visit in the hospital. I received the Sacrament the Anointing of the Sick, then received Christ in the Eucharist. One of the lovely ladies was visiting while I received my Sacraments, so she too was able to partake in receiving the Eucharist.

You know your friendship is a blessing when the day you meet you receive the Eucharist together!

For some reason the presence of the priest brought me peace. I couldn’t stop shaking his blessed hands; the hands that consecrate the hosts, the hands that hold the Body of Christ every day in Mass, the hands that bless us.

I’m so thankful. This day was beautiful, and tomorrow I will bring my child into the world!
